Happy Health and Vitality in 2024!

This month is all about detox and self-care. And for good reason!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve noticed a lot of people are sick with colds and flu. They have runny noses, coughs, and, for some, fevers and malaise. Many are masking again. Have you noticed, too? Maybe you’ve been ill too?

January is the ideal time to reset and start the new year by cleansing your body of toxins accumulated during the holidays.

In this blog, I want to tell you a little secret to staying healthy that almost no one talks about. Through my holistic approach to using flower essence aromatherapy and self-massage, you will feel free and light again – in just 5-15 minutes daily.

Self-Care Secret #1

If you want to stay healthy, there’s one thing you can do every day that will make a huge difference: give yourself a lymphatic self-massage.

Daily lymphatic massage is the most critical factor for maintaining a healthy immune system.

The Lymphatic System is Designed to Keep you Healthy

The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in maintaining a healthy immune system and eliminating toxins from the body. It serves as a transportation network, carrying waste materials, excess fluids, and immune cells throughout the body.

This system is an integral part of our body that plays a significant role in our overall health and well-being. It protects you from infection and keeps a healthy balance of fluids throughout your body.

You might think of the lymphatic system as your body’s hidden sewer system. Lymphatic congestion can create a waste buildup and block the flow of oxygen and vital nutrients to your organs, lungs, and skin.

When the lymphatic system becomes congested or sluggish, it can lead to various health issues and a compromised immune response. And a clogged lymphatic system means a congested body and a fast track to aging!

Here’s how it works:

Your lymphatic system has many functions. Water-dependent, its essential functions include:

  • Collecting excess fluid from your body’s tissues and returning it to your bloodstream. This supports healthy fluid levels in your body. Your lymphatic system also filters out waste products and abnormal cells from this fluid.
  • Helping your body absorb fats. Most nutrients can travel through tiny pores in the walls of your capillaries, and your body can then absorb and use them. But certain fats and other molecules are too large to travel this way. Your lymphatic system collects fluid from your intestines that contains these molecules and transports it back to your bloodstream.
  • Protecting your body against invaders. Your lymphatic system is part of your immune system. It produces and releases lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell) and other immune cells. These cells look for and destroy invaders, such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungi, that may enter your body.

It’s a Comprehensive Network

Your Lymphatic system includes your spleen, bone marrow, thymus, tonsils and adenoids, and lymph nodes. It’s vital to your health, protects you from infection, and destroys old or abnormal cells your body doesn’t need.

It’s also closely connected to your mucus membranes, known as mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT). This mucus membrane exists throughout your body in many important locations. For example, it lines your tonsils, airways, small intestine, and appendix. MALT looks for and destroys germs that could harm you.

Through a network of hundreds of lymph nodes, vessels, and organs, your lymphatic system works hard to move a colorless, watery fluid called lymph throughout your circulatory system and remove toxins. Lymph is the substance that transports toxins and cellular waste out of your body.

This intricate network of vessels and nodes may seem intimidating, but don’t worry; I’ll guide you through by simplifying the process so you can take control of your health like never before.

How I Came to Formulate Shuddhi Lymph Oil

Almost thirty years ago, I became aware of the importance of the Lymphatic system when I read Christopher Bird’s fascinating book The Persecution and Trial of Gaston Naessns. Naessens was a French-Canadian scientist and biologist who discovered what he calls the “somatid.”

Naessens then developed an innovative therapy and non-toxic health products. His protocol aimed to help the immune system help itself. By rebalancing the lymphatic system many chronic diseases were resolved.

Twenty years later, when my daughter’s father became ill with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, (a type of cancer of the lymph nodes that occurs when lymphocytes grow and multiply uncontrollably), I remembered what I read. I wanted to help his lymphatic system become a healing force.Shuddhi Lymph Oil

I became obsessed with learning all I could about using essential oils for the Lymphatic system. This was my impetus to look into using essential oils as topical support to decongest, move, and clear congested lymph. So, I took a deep dive into understanding which essential oils could help.

The Miracle Aromatherapeutic Blend

Shuddhi Lymph Oil’s alchemical synergy blend of organic essential oils is formulated in a base of Jojoba oil and calendula-infused Sunflower oil.

Applied topically, the bio-active properties of the following essential oils naturally penetrate the skin’s barrier to enhance transdermal delivery.

  • Grapefruit (Citrus paradise) – Boosts the effectiveness of the lymphatic system.
  • Carrot Seed (Daucus carota) – Facilitates healthy lymph function.
  • Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum) – Increases lymphatic drainage and acts as an anti-congestive agent.
  • Rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus) – Antioxidant and antimicrobial properties stimulate the lymph’s movement.
  • Laurel leaf (Laurel nobilis) – Antiseptic and antiviral properties help support lymph decongestion, healthy circulation, and lymph movement
  • Cistus (Cistus ladaniferus) – Helps reduce swollen lymph nodes and stimulates lymphatic drainage.
  • Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) – Pain-relieving analgesic properties reduce inflammation and fluid retention improving lymphatic drainage.
  • Calendula (Calendula officinalis) – Moves the lymphatic fluid and cleanses the lymphatic system as a whole

Today, Shuddhi Lymph Oil is my number one alchemical wellness product. It’s my “go-to” flower essence aromatherapy oil when I’ve overindulged or picked up a bug.

As someone who has tried countless remedies, I can confidently say that this alchemical wonder has revolutionized my and my client’s self-care regimen.

How to Use

My clients often ask, “Where do I start?”

Lymphatic self-massage is easy to do, but there is a technique. This simple routine can help your immune system eliminate toxins and improve your overall health.

Please make sure you are hydrated well. Apply a small amount of Shuddhi Lymph Oil to each central spot, starting with #1 and then moving on to each subsequent spot, finishing at the back of the knees.

Thanks to Dr. Perry Nickleson for clarifying the “BIG 6” steps. For each area: Stroke 20 times, Tap 20 times, Circle 20 times. Your touch is gentle. Strokes go in the direction of the heart.

  1. Above and below the collarbone
  2. The base of the neck and jawline
  3. Under the arms and the chest
  4. Abdomen
  5. Groin
  6. Back of the knees

Dr. Nickleson recommends that afterward, you should “Shake or Bounce for 30 seconds.”

It’s that easy! By following this daily self-care routine, anyone can maintain vital health by investing only 5-15 minutes per day.

Lymphatic System Maintenance

Look to your lifestyle choices to keep your lymphatic system strong and healthy.

  • Avoid exposure to toxic chemicals like those in pesticides or cleaning products. These chemicals can build up in your system, making it harder for your body to filter waste.
  • Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated so lymph can quickly move throughout your body.
  • Include 20 minutes of regular movement and exercise, such as walking.
  • Engage in deep breathing.
  • Commit to a nutritious, clean, balanced diet. Favor fresh fruits and veggies.
  • Incorporate skin dry brushing.
  • For serious health issues, your provider can give you specific advice tailored to your medical history and needs.
